Family Dentistry was founded in 1985 by Dr. Ronald Triplett DMD with the vision of creating a dental practice that treats every patient with the personal and professional care they need and deserve. The office staff at Family Dentistry are highly-trained professionals and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate dental team will treat you like family.

Dr. Ronald Triplett DMD 

Since graduating from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1985, I have dedicated my career to developing a patient-centered dental practice focused on clinical excellence and compassionate care. My academic journey began at UCLA, where I earned my undergraduate degree with honors in Psychobiology in 1979. I then pursued a degree in Cell Biology at the University of Texas–Austin, graduating in 1981.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to have the unwavering support of my incredible family. My wife of 40 years, Linda (Ansehl), a proud St. Louis native, is the heart of our family. Together, we’ve raised three amazing children—Carolyn, Madeline, and Greg—and are now blessed with six wonderful grandchildren who bring joy to our lives.

In my practice, I strive to treat every patient as if they were a member of my own family. Comfort, esthetics, function, and meticulous attention to detail are the cornerstones of my treatment philosophy. Education has always been a driving force in my professional life, and I believe it is key to any successful practice. As an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, I stay at the forefront of advancements in dental care to provide my patients with the best treatment options available.

Outside the office, my time is joyfully spent with our children and grandchildren. I also enjoy golf, sailing, and supporting Team Triplett in our ongoing efforts with Pedal the Cause, benefiting the Siteman Cancer Center.

Meet our Patient Coordinator: Cathy

I am still relatively new to the dental profession and although my education and degree were in a different field, I have had a lot of experience over the years in customer service.  I am a people person and I love getting to know all the patients, some of whom I already know from growing up in Brentwood (where the office started out).  I joined Dr. Triplett’s team in April of 2022 and was fortunate to spend a year absorbing as much information as I could from Diane before her retirement (after 47 years with the practice!).  My entire family have been patients of Dr. Triplett’s since he bought the practice in 1988 – so I have known him for over 35 years! 

My husband & I have 2 daughters, one that graduated from American University in 2024 & one that is in her freshman year at Chapman University!  We love to travel and explore different cities in the United States and hope to get to Europe in the next few years.  In my spare time (whatever that is!), I love being in the kitchen!  My favorite thing to make is dessert and I love sharing what I make with family and friends especially during the holidays!  

Meet our Administrative Assistant: Dawn

I have been in the dental field for 38 years, started as a dental assistant, then transitioned to the front office/office coordinator.  The best thing about my job is helping patients in every possible way, whether that is discussing their insurance or making them smile when they walk through the door.  I graduated in 1987 from Texas College of Medical & Dental Careers in Dallas, Texas.

I have been with Dr. Triplett and his wonderful staff since August 2024.

I’m married with 5 children and 11 grandchildren.  In our spare time we enjoy spending time with our grandchildren and making new memories.

My husband and I also have 4 dogs, 2 of which compete in frisbee and dock diving, which gives us the opportunity to travel with our dogs and compete with them at different events throughout the states. 

Meet our Dental Assistant: Sandra

I have been a dedicated Dental Assistant since graduating from the dental assisting program at Midwest Institute in 2011. What I love most about my job is the opportunity to help people regain their smiles, which is truly rewarding.

Since joining Dr. Triplett's team in 2022, I’ve had the privilege of learning from his vast expertise and the cutting-edge technology in our office. His guidance has allowed me to grow professionally and deepen my knowledge in the field.

Outside of work, I’m a proud dog mom to two rescue pups. We enjoy spending time outdoors, especially on the water, and I’m a avid fan of live music.

Meet our Dental Hygienist: Sonja

I have been a practicing Dental Hygienist for nearly 32 years.  I received my Associates Degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene from Forest Park Community College as well as passing the Missouri State Dental Boards in May 1993.  I pride myself on excellent patient care that includes a gentle but thorough technique as well as establishing a wonderful rapport with my patients.  

  I am a proud mother and grandmother.  I have three children and two grandchildren.  In my free time I enjoy working out, bike riding, gardening, cooking, reading, attending sporting events and spending time with family and friends

Meet our Dental Hygienist: Angel

I chose to be a dental hygienist because someone's mom came into school and talked about what she did.  I graduated from Lewis and Clark community college in 2007, I practiced mainly part-time for about 2 to 3 years in hopes to find a full-time general hygiene private practice.  It was hard to find a private practice to work for, so I was able to work part-time and as a temp.  I decided to get back into dental hygiene after my employer of 28 years decided to retire.

I am originally from Jacksonville, Florida and I moved here after high school and stayed with my sister.  I have some family here in the area and travel to Jacksonville, Florida to see the rest of my family.  I am married, have a stepson, and a little dog.  We enjoy riding bikes, going camping, and traveling.
