Family Dentistry was founded in 1985 by Dr. Ronald Triplett DMD with the vision of creating a dental practice that treats every patient with the personal and professional care they need and deserve. The office staff at Family Dentistry are highly-trained professionals and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting the dentist can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate dental team will treat you like family.
I have been developing my practice since graduating from Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1985. I received my undergraduate degree with honors in Physcho-Biology from the University of Texas-Austin in 1981.
I have a tremendous family supporting me. I have a wonderful wife Linda (Ansehl) of 30 years who leads my family and is a St. Louis native. Together we have three wonderful children; Carolyn, Madeline and Gregory. I always focus on treating each patient as if they were a part of my family. Great attention to clinical detail, patient comfort, esthetics and function are the cornerstones of all my treatment plans. Education has always been the driving force for myself and is the key to any successful practice. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry I stay connected to the ever-changing treatment options available to dentists and patients. My activities away from the office include keeping up with our kid’s lives, training for marathons, sailing my Laser II on Lake Michigan and enjoying a round of golf.
My extended family includes a skilled and dedicated staff who are committed to the patient centered ideals which define my practice:
Patient Coordinator: Diane has been with the practice for 40 years
Dental Hygienist: Marty has been with the practice for 1 year
Dental Assistant: Liz has been with the practice for 1 year
Dental Hygienist: Nichole started with the practice for 3 years
I began working with the practice in 1976 as a Certified Dental Assistant. My years working as a chair-side assistant gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge of the clinical aspects of all dental procedures. My office responsibilities then evolved from Dental Assisting, to front office Patient Coordinator. It has been wonderful to work in the same office for so many years. Through the years I have had the opportunity to truly get to know our patients and watch their families grow.
Outside of the office I love sitting by the pool and reading; summer is my favorite time of the year! I also like to travel, cook and entertain especially during the holidays. I have many Godchildren and have been very fortunate to be able to participate in their lives and activities.
I have over 37 years of practical experience since graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Michigan. I am constantly furthering my education each year by completing over 25 hours of continuing education through seminars and courses.
My major emphasis has always been providing a partnership with patients in reaching and maintaining excellent periodontal health. Developing great relationships with many of my patients over the years has been a very rewarding experience. My family includes my husband and two children; a son, daughter and recently added son-in-law. Volunteerism is very important to my family. We are currently raising our 13th puppy for a local service dog organization, Support Dogs Inc.
I graduated from Missouri College in January 2015 with my degree in Dental Assisting. I am excited to expand my experience with a wonderful team. When I am not assisting I am a full time mom to my son David and a full time wife to my husband George. We love spending quality time together and taking our son to the park on beautiful days.
First of all, I must say that I am so thrilled to be a part of Dr. Triplett’s team. I started working with Dr. Triplett in 2013 and I have really enjoyed getting to know all the wonderful patients. I graduated from Missouri College in September 2010 with my Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. I love staying up to date with all the new and exciting dental discoveries.
To tell you a little about myself I am a big family person. My family means the world to me and I only hope that I someday have a family half as great as the one I grew up in. I married my highschool sweetheart; Derrick has been my rock and my support system for 12 years now. We have 2 sweet dogs named Romeo and Zeke. We enjoy taking them out for walks, going camping or taking them to the beautiful rivers and creeks that Missouri has to offer. I spend my free time with my husband, my family, and my sweet pups.
